How does prima:Time prioritize hourly rates when creating a time record?

Pricing is one of the main features of prima:Time’s Billing module, which allows users to have full control over the cost of their own time. Prices can be assigned to projects, tasks, clients, users, and activities.

Because prices can be combined within multiple fields on your time records, while creating a new record, the application looks for possible pricing combinations and assigns the price according to certain predefined rules.

The Pricing prioritization

As you will see more in detail on the table below, priced items with a higher priority - level “17” is the highest level - have priority over items priced in lower levels.

The following table shows all the possible combinations and their respective priorities when - and if - prices attributed by you to different tasks, clients, activities, etc. are in fact combined within these parameters:
